This morning we passed one and half million visits to this blog. We started Venus Observations in September 2008 and passed a million visits on 31st March this year. So it took two and a half years to reach the one million mark but only just over three months for the next half million.
Looking back at our one million visits post we outlined some future possible pieces but so far have only managed to produce one of these: on Ingres.
In the not too distant future we will have extensive revisions of our 1974 Pubic Wars posts, a new chapter from 1977, some Victorian painters we have just discovered, a few more vintage Tahitian girls and some illustrations from early twentieth century Parisian magazines.
